How to add an extra language

Jun 7, 2014App settings, Support

Currently 9 languages are supported, namely Greek, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Turkish and Bulgarian. You can add one ore more languages from the Setup–> App Settings menu. There you will find

  • a) the list of currently available languages and
  • b) the currently selected one as the default language of your mobile app. This is the language that your app will first appear in, until your users select their preferred language.

Adding an extra language

In the above image we see that our app is just in English and obviously this is the default language. As soon as we select another language, let’s say German we see that the Default language field becomes empty. This is Jupitee’s way of asking us to select which is the default language, since it automatically detects that languages were modified. So don’t forget to pick your new default language!

Adding an extra language

Now we just have to log out and log back in the CMS for the changes to appear and now we see that German also appears as the second language, below English!
